In the first four years, their Indian fair trade production facility grew in size from 19 to 350 employees, and is now supporting a local school.
Their newest offerings for 2009 include fun, rock & roll graphic tee shirts, must-have mix and match organic basics, and fashion forward cut and sewn pieces for Men, Women, and Babies. For Fall, they're bringing in some new materials - dreamy Alpaca, as well as Modal, a luxuriously soft, smooth and durable fabric made from the pulp of the Beechwood tree. Also new, the baby collection will soon have some pieces up to size 4T. Ideo has won 4 awards in France, most notably the Elan de la Mode (Fédération du Pret a Porter) and the Paris Developpement Durable (Sustainable Development).
